Fools Garden

As we all know, life writes the best stories. This is certainly true of Fools Garden, the band that knocked Take That off the top of the Bravo charts, shared a dressing room with Justin Timberlake and danced the conga with the Spice Girls in Tokyo. You might think that anyone who has achieved and experienced all this can sit back, put their feet up and rest on their laurels... far from it: the two masterminds Peter Freudenthaler and Volker Hinkel still have an irrepressible desire to write new songs, record albums and go on tour. They have now created over 140 songs in their 30-year band history. “Captain...Coast Is Clear” is the name of the new and meanwhile eleventh studio album.

All in all, it seems as if the band, despite - or perhaps because of - the pandemic challenges, has almost reached top form and has thus created a work with “Captain...Coast Is Clear” that actually offers something for every musical taste. Therefore, the band can hardly wait to bring these songs, which were created during a very historic time, live on stage, to sing along with fans from near and far.
