About VdelliVdelli are a unique three-piece band from Perth, Western Australia of rare quality and substance.The group features Michael Vdelli (Vocal / Guitar), whose vocal diversity ranges from smooth, soulful, bluestones to the voice of a Rock n Roll madman about to explode. Combined with his powerhouse guitar playing, Michael has a stage presence that continues to captivate audiences in Australia and Europe. He is considered by many industry insiders and fans alike to be one of the shining lights in the genre, and after seeing him perform live, it’s easy to see why. The rhythm section of the group is not merely a backing band for Michael. They are front-line players in their own right.
On drums, Vdelli features one of the world’s best in the field, Mr Ric Whittle. Ric is a master drummer with a lifetime of experience on his instrument that is immediately evident from the first bar he plays. Lightning chops and brutal energy, combined with taste and class give a clue as to what to expect from this heavyweight of contemporary drumming. Bass player Troy Gennoe, since joining the band in early 2007, has fit perfectly into the pressure cooker situation that is Vdelli. He brings to the band not only the solid groove and pump orientated playing the group requires, but also a personality the fans adore. Troy has a massive sound that has taken the band to a new level of power and feel that is genuinely energizing the crowd at every concert the band plays.
Vdelli have released ten CDs since 1997 and believe their best is still ahead of them as they continue to evolve, grow and improve their live performance, song writing and recording techniques. The band has not once had a bad review in over ten years of live performance and most critics are found wanting to find superlatives to describe this astounding live act.

Über VdelliVdelli (Perth / Western Australia) spielt einen eigenen und modernen Stilmix aus Blues, Funk und hartem Rock und ist eine Band von seltener Energie, Qualität und Substanz. Gegründet 1997, schaffte es das Powertrio schnell, sich in der hart umspielten Clubszene der Millionenmetropole Perth durchzusetzen und sich eine treue Fangemeinde zu erspielen. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit hatte sich die Band einen Namen gemacht und Auftritte im Vorprogramm, u. a. von ZZ Top, B.B. King, Buddy Guy und Kenny Wayne Shepherd zeigten deutlich, dass sie auch auf großen Bühnen ohne Mühe in der Lage ist, durch ihr energiegeladenes Auftreten und instrumentales Können das Publikum zu begeistern. Mit Sänger und Gitarrist Michael Vdelli besitzt die Gruppe einen äußerst charismatischen Frontmann, dessen gesanglicher Ausdruck sich von gefühlvollem, souligen Blues hin zu hartem, explosiven Rock erstreckt. In Kombination mit seinem aufsehenerregenden Gitarrenspiel wird er nicht umsonst bei Insidern als ein neues Glanzlicht seines Genres bezeichnet. Seinen ganzen Erfahrungsschatz bringt Drummer Ric Whittle in die Band ein. Sein Spiel besticht durch elegante, technische Raffinessen und Spielwitz, gewürzt mit Geschmack und Klasse. Wie seine Mitstreiter, so geht auch Ric Abend für Abend an seine körperlichen Grenzen und spielt immer mit vollem Risiko und voller Power. Bassist Troy Gennoe hat sich seit seinem Einstieg Anfang 2007 nahtlos in die Band eingefügt und sie durch seinen massiven Sound und soliden Groove auf ein neues Level gebracht. Vdelli haben seit 1997 zehn Alben veröffentlicht und sich auf 14 Tourneen in Europa vorgestellt. Sie haben in ihrer zehnjährigen Bandgeschichte niemals eine schlechte Konzertkritik erhalten und viele sind in der Vergangenheit daran gescheitert, ein für diesen verblüffenden Live Act gerechtes Superlativ zu finden.
